MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) - The search is over for a shooting suspect Moss Point police believed to be armed and dangerous. Laterrance Deshawn McCarty was arrested at his home without incident Tuesday morning with the help of an anonymous tip.
Police Chief Calvin Hutchins said McCarty, 25, is accused of shooting a person in an alley near the intersection of Frederick St. and Karen St. on Saturday.
McCarty is charged with aggravated assault. He is awaiting his initial court appearance at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
