NEW ORLEANS (AP) _ Sedrick Hodge, a third-round draft pick, agreed to a three-year contract with the New Orleans Saints on Monday. A 6-foot-4, 244-pound linebacker, Hodge started every game in his last three seasons at North Carolina. The Saints also signed tackle Daryl Terrell, a third-year pro, to a one-year contract. Terrell played in all 16 games for New Orleans in 2000. Also signed were tight end Johnny Mitchell and linebacker Brandon Tolbert. Mitchell played four seasons with the New York Jets (1992-95) and one season with the Dallas Cowboys (1996). Tolbert spent two seasons with the Cowboys after being drafted by Jacksonville in the seventh round in 1998. The Saints also waived wide receivers Keith Poole and Eric Chew, tackle Frank Livingston and linebacker Ed Reese.
