GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - A 56-year-old Gulfport man was arrested late Sunday night after allegedly breaking into and ransacking a business on Pass Rd.
Gulfport Police Department spokesman Sgt. Joshua Bromen said officers responded to a burglary in progress at Gulfport Tire and Auto around 10 p.m. It was reported the man who broke into the business was holding a large knife.
Bromen said responding officers found Harold Carter damaging items in the business, but officers were able to arrest him safely.
Carter is charged with burglary of a business. His bond was set at $35,000.
