CHICAGO, IL (WLOX) - A former Biloxi Indian star is looking for a new home in the NBA.
The Chicago Bulls waived Biloxi native Isaiah Canaan today, along with fellow guard Rajon Rondo. In one season with the Bulls, Canaan averaged 4.6 points and 15.2 minutes per game, appearing in 39 contests. Canaan made his first career postseason appearance on April 23 vs. Boston and logged his first career playoff start on April 26. Canaan originally signed with Chicago as a free agent on July 20, 2016.
The Biloxi product now looks to join the fourth team in his professional career, following stints with Chicago, Philadelphia and Houston.
