MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) - Moss Point School District Superintendent Dr. Shannon Vincent is leading the way to building stronger relationships in the community.

Vincent hopes that "Takin' It to the Streets" - a series of community conversations - will inspire community members and stakeholders to partner with the school system; as well as encourage conversations and collaborations.

Information about progress in the Moss Point School District will be given at the forums, and key district employees will be available to answer questions.

"We are making strides in the right direction and the information we are sharing is for the community to understand where we have been, where we are, and where we are going," Vincent said. "It will take all of us to ensure the success of our students."

The series will be held on the upcoming dates:

Thursday, June 29
Moss Point Riverfront; 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 6
The Hair Affair Salon; 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 12
Moss Point Public Library; 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
