Breleigh Favre is an exceptional volleyball player. At 6 feet tall and with great leaping ability, Breleigh stands out on the volleyball court.
She knows having that famous last name will have fans zooming in on her talents and she doesn't disappoint.
Breleigh said, "Really just to reach full potential. Just always work the best I can as an individual, but be the best teammate I can be."
Breleigh admits sometimes being the daughter of Brett can make it tough.
"Yeah, it is tough sometimes, "said Breleigh. "But you know you just have to keep working hard. You have to make a name for yourself and just have good character, just get through it."
Brett and Deanna Favre have followed Breleigh during her high school volleyball career. On this day, Breleigh was training with the Storm Volleyball Club in Mobile.
Brett says it's different watching from the stands, then throwing touchdown passes on the field.
Brett said, "All those years I now realize what it was like sitting there in the stands and watching me play. " "She's really worked hard and we've come down here probably four or five years now. Just trying to give her the best opportunity possible and I couldn't be more proud of her, the effort she's been giving."
Storm instructor Nicole Keshock says Breleigh is comparable to other top- notch volleyball players.
Keshock said, "They all have the same drive. They work hard, they want to get better and they're just passionate about it."
Brett and Deanna won't have to travel too far to watch Breleigh in the college ranks. She's getting ready for her freshman season after signing a volleyball scholarship with Southern Miss.
Breleigh will add more interest in Southern Miss volleyball this season.
