SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) -

Flash Flooding will continue to be a major concern for Jackson county tonight. Persistent bands of heavy rain continue to cross over the same areas that saw flash flooding early Thursday Morning.

As of 11:27 PM The National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated as much as one foot of rain has already fallen in some locations and flash flooding is already occurring.

Some locations impacted are Ocean Springs, Moss Point, Escatawpa, Gautier, Wade, Gulf Hills,Hurley, Vancleave, Gulf Park Estates, Hickory Hills and Big Point.
