BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Tropical Storm Cindy has created a mess on South Mississippi roads. Several local streets have water covering them. And the slick roads have led to a variety of accidents on highways and the interstate.

Since midnight, almost three inches of rain has fallen in Gulfport. Another two inches of rain pummeled Pascagoula. And there are no signs the rain will let up until late in the day on Thursday. The rain bands pounded the coast are why a flash flood warning is in place until 6:45 Wednesday morning.
