One suspect still wanted in Biloxi robbery investigation

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A second suspect in an armed robbery investigation in Biloxi is under arrest. Investigator Tom Lamb, with the Biloxi Police Department, said Ray Charles Martin, Jr. turned himself in Wednesday.

Another suspect in the robbery, Devonte Johnques Walker, was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Tuesday.

The U.S. Marshal’s Regional Task Force is still looking for Jermaine Deangelo Reed in relation to the case. Reed is wanted for armed robbery.

Lamb said the robbery happened in the 500 block of Division St. on the night of May 18. According to investigators, Walker, 25, held the victim at gunpoint while Martin, 37, and Reed, 26, beat them and stole their cash.

The victim was treated at an area hospital for minor injuries.

Walker and Martin were charged with armed robbery and booked into the Harrison County jail on $250,000 bonds.
