Trial date set for man accused in Jessie Bardwell murder

RICHARDSON, TX (WLOX) - A jury will decide the fate of a man accused of murdering Pascagoula native Jessie Bardwell in September.

According Cynthia Walker, Chief Felony Prosecutor with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office, jury selection in Jason Lowe's trial will begin September 11, 2017. Police say Lowe, Bardwell's boyfriend, killed her and dumped her body in Farmersville, TX.

Emotional ceremony honors the life of Jessie Bardwell

Bardwell's parents reported her missing on May 9, 2016 after she did not call home on Mother's Day. Lowe was charged with her murder four days later. Bardwell's body was finally found May 19.
