BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Spring breakers from across the region are on the Coast by the thousands.
Some are regulars and some are visiting for the first time. The one thing they all have in common is money, and lots of it.
"I think I'm going to spend about $600 dollars on the room, alcohol, food, and just events to go out and have a good time," said Arieale Munson. "It's worth it."
The Coast Coliseum will also reap the monetary benefits of the busy weekend. Matt McDonnell is the director. "It's very big for us when you consider two days of activities, starting last night, all day today and later into the evening," said Matt McDonnel, Coliseum director. "With a sold out 11,000 seat concert, that's a major impact for us."
There's a familiar sight on every computer screen at just about every hotel on the Coast, including the Quality Inn Beachfront in Biloxi - no vacancies.
"We're very, very busy. We're completely booked and we were booked a few months in advance," said manager Pearl Trinh. "It's wonderful, it's great for business."
