Drug suspects wanted for questioning in murder investigation

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Two suspects wanted on felony drug charges in Harrison County are also wanted for questioning in the murder investigation of a teen boy.

Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said deputies are working to track down Tracey Lavern Dubose, 43, and Eric Lashay Boykin, Sr., 45. Peterson said Tracey is 5’11” and weighs 225 pounds, and Boykin is 6’1” and weighs 205 pounds.

Peterson said Dubose and Boykin are wanted for questioning in the murder investigation of 17-year-old Tyjuan Johnson. Tyjuan was found shot to death in a driveway in the Crown Hill neighborhood off Three Rivers Rd. one week ago.

Family mourning death of Harrison County teen

Edward Earl Dubose, 22, has been charged with murder in the shooting death. His bond was set at $2 million.

Investigators said Edward Dubose shot Tyjuan several times during an argument. Johnson’s family members said the argument involved a group of teens, and Johnson was an innocent bystander caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Lt. Coley Judy pointed out Tracey Dubose and Boykin are not suspects in the case, but they are wanted for questioning.
