Woman killed by train identified

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -

A woman who was hit and killed by a train in Pascagoula on March 16 has been identified. 

According to Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus, 43-year-old Miesha Kyana Kindle was killed after she was hit by a westbound train on 14th Street. 

After being dragged more than 100 yards, Kindle was pronounced dead on the scene

The incident is the fourth time a pedestrian has been hit and killed by a train in the city since 2009.
