PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - A 93 year old man is alive and recovering after a fire engulfed his Pascagoula home Friday night.
Officials say the fire began at 8:30 p.m. at 2116 Lewis St. Once firefighters arrived at the scene, they realized that the man was still inside the home.
Pascagoula Fire Captain Wade Johnson was able to pull the man out of the house. The elderly man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition now.
It's unclear how the fire began.
