BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) - The pirates will still party in Bay St. Louis tonight, just a little later than originally planned. Due to the threat of rain, the Mystic Krewe of the Seahorse parade is now set to roll at 6pm, instead of 5pm. But organizers say participants can still line up at 2pm.
"After watching Wesley, he said the rain should be cleared out at 6. We'll just roll an hour later which be better for everyone," said Maggie Cantrell, Marketing Director for the Mystic Krewe of the Seahorse.
Cantrell said they're expecting 85 units, including marching bands, in the Lundi Gras parade. It's one of the newer Mardi Gras events in South Mississippi
"We have a new King and Queen float. It's a pirate ship and looks amazing," Cantrell said.
