BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A man wanted in a triple-murder in California will be extradited to California.

Biloxi Police arrested Jerod Michael Watson Friday afternoon. He's currently being held in the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Judge Bruce Strong signed the extradition papers Monday morning.

According to Biloxi Police Chief John Miller, Watson was located near Main and Howard Avenue after police received complaints about homeless people in the area. After not being honest about who he was, police were able to confirm Watson's identity and take him into custody without incident.

According to an October news release from the Sacramento Police Department, Watson is accused of killing a woman and her two grandsons. The Sacramento District Attorney's office told CBS News that 68-year-old Christine Lucas and her two grandsons - Marquise Brown, 23, and James Ferrell, 20, - were found dead in a Sacramento housing complex back in October. Watson was reportedly in a relationship with Lucas' daughter.
