Police in Gautier are asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman.

Amanda Hicks, 37, was last seen Feb. 8 with her boyfriend James Vanlaningham, who is also known as as James Mills. The pair were last seen around 2 p.m. at Santa Maria Trailer Park getting into Hicks' red 2009 Dodge Ram truck.

Authorities say the camper that the couple was living in caught fire soon after the couple left. The couple's 15  year son told police he has been unable to contact Hicks since that day.

Vanlaningham was arrested in Escambia County on DUI charges. The whereabouts of Hicks is still unknown. She and Vanlaningham are known to frequent parts of Alabama and Louisiana. Gautier Police are currently investigating an arson case at the couple's trailer, as well as the missing persons investigation.

Any with information about Hicks or her whereabouts is asked to contact Gautier Police Department at 228-497-2486.
