6 members of the Black Gangster Disciples arrested

GEORGE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Following a two year investigation, six George County residents and one Greene County resident have been arrested on federal drug charges.

Details about the investigation are limited, but officials have confirmed that six of the suspects are known members or associates of the Black Gangster Disciples Street Gang.

FBI agents made the following arrests in George County on Feb. 2:

  • style="margin-left: 40px;">Jerry Street, 35 of George County
  • style="margin-left: 40px;">Garnett Edwin Smith, 38, George County
  • style="margin-left: 40px;">Alisha Christina Smith, 36, George County
  • style="margin-left: 40px;">Timothy Adam Harvard, 40, George County
  • style="margin-left: 40px;">Tarsen Deveal Fairley, 29, George County
  • style="margin-left: 40px;">Mareo Green, 36, Greene County.

Additionally, 30-year-old Zack Bexton of George County was arrested in Vancouver Washington.

All seven suspects have been charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine. The suspects arrested in Mississippi will appear before a Gulfport judge on Feb. 3
