Several groups on the Coast continue to do what they can to help victims of a recent tornado in Hattiesburg.
A few members of First United Methodist Church just returned from a relief trip to help those who lost everything.
"It was seriously a flashback to Katrina for us. One house was fine, the next two or three were demolished," said Jenny White.
Several members of the church made the trip on Saturday to lend a helping hand.
"Basically, all we did was yard cleanup and the yard cleanup evolved into huge stacks of debris that we left out by the street," said Roger Brunell.
What seemed like a little bit of help made a huge difference to the people living in the middle of the destruction.
"To see the look of gratitude on the peoples faces just for us picking up the trash, it's just an awesome experience," added White.
The group was happy to be a ray of light during a dark time.
"We need to pray for them and hope that things work out for them because they have a long road ahead of them," said White.
Members from First United Methodist church plan to return to Hattiesburg in the a few weeks.
