JACKSON, MS (WLOX) - Thursday, the Mississippi Supreme Court ruled in favor of a man who was injured while working at the Chevron refinery in Pascagoula.
The court said Quindon Thomas can sue over dangerous conditions at the plant. It's a reversal of a decision by a lower court.
Thomas was working for American Plant Services when he was severely burned at the refinery in 2012.
He has already collected workers compensation from Chevron, and today the court said he can also sue the company since Chevron wasn't his employer.
