D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) -

It was a fitting tribute and send-off Thursday for a beloved member of the community.

Elvin "Tex" Holley, the owner of E&M Towing, passed away Saturday at the age of 74.

On Thursday, before a large crowd of family and friends at Riemann Family Funeral Home on LeMoyne Boulevard, his casket was placed on a tow truck before heading to the cemetery.

Not only that, but a long line of tow trucks from companies across the coast helped lead the funeral procession.

The Mississippi Towing Association organized the procession.

Holley was laid to rest at D'Iberville Memorial Park. He was known for his love of Mardi Gras and Cruisin' The Coast.
