BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Three Gulfport men are facing armed robbery charges after allegedly holding up two Biloxi businesses early Wednesday morning.
Sgt. O'Neil Adams, with the Biloxi Police Department, said the first robbery was reported around 3:50 a.m. in the 2700 block of Pass Rd. A man reportedly walked into a convenience store, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money and merchandise.
Adams said a witness came forward and told investigators about a suspicious vehicle seen in the area just before the robbery.
About 30 minutes later, a second robbery was reported in the 100 block of Reynoir St. The description of the suspect was the same, and responding officers spotted the vehicle described by the witness from the first robbery.
Adams said Justin Marshall, 23, Jariel Peterson, 25, and Theron Whitlock II, 22, were in the car. A search of the vehicle turned up evidence from both robberies.
Adams said the suspects are each charged with two counts of armed robbery. Peterson and Whitlock's bonds were set at $400,000, and Marshall's bond was set at $40,000.
