BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Amazing signs of Christmas giving are all around and none more touching than how a group of Biloxi High School students spent Monday morning.

After loading a school bus, the students calling it Project Presents drove around Biloxi making stops just like Santa Claus. The students' arms were filled with presents to deliver to needy children.

For the last several weeks, Biloxi High students competed to see which class could bring the most presents. On Monday, more than 300 gifts filled a truck and then were delivered making Christmas wishes come true. The students dropped off presents for 15 families.

For the past several years, the students teamed up with Biloxi Police for the Santa Wears a Badge program. They decided to deliver presents on their own this year after the department decided not to continue the effort from previous years.

This year the police department encouraged people to donate gifts and coordinate deliveries through the Salvation Army.
