NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

In the past two contests, Drew Brees was held to no touchdown passes, and six interceptions. Sunday against the Cardinals he had no such problems finding the end zone in 48-41 Saints victory. Brees accounted for four touchdown passes, racking up 389 yards in the process.

Brees' four touchdown connections went to Travaris Cadet, Michael Thomas, and twice to Brandin Cooks. Former Arizona Cardinal Tim Hightower grabbed the other two touchdowns for the Saints on the ground.

The 89 points combined by the teams, is the highest output for the NFL in 2016.

The Saints (6-8) are eliminated from the playoffs if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeat the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night.
