HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A man shot in the head in Hancock County is expected to survive, according to Sheriff Ricky Adam.
Deputies were called to a home on Hwy. 53 around 10 a.m. Tuesday after a man was shot. Adam said the man was shot in the forehead, possibly with a rifle, but the injury is not life threatening.
"We're not sure what we have yet," Adam said. "More than likely, it's domestic related."
Adam said the suspected shooter is not in custody, and deputies are just beginning their investigation.
According to a neighbor, deputies are at the home in the 2000 block of Hwy. 53 in the Sellers community.
