GPD searching for 2 robbery suspects

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Gulfport police are searching for two people in connection with a Tuesday afternoon robbery in the 9300 block of Highway 49.

According to Sgt. Joshua Bromen, the victim was standing near her vehicle when an unknown person pushed her to the ground and stole her purse.

Details about the suspects are limited, but police describe them as a man and a woman driving a gray Ford F150 extended cab. Surveillance footage shows the female suspect wearing a dark tank top and what appears to be leggings.

The suspects were last seen driving west toward Highway 49.
