JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Two men and a 16-year-old boy have been charged in unrelated burglary cases in Jackson County.
John Ledbetter, Chief Deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, said both burglaries happened in the same area of St. Martin.
Desrae Zamontre Durden, 19, and the 16-year-old are accused of burglarizing a home off Cook Rd. in October. Both have been charged with burglary of a dwelling.
Durden's bond was set at $5,000, and the juvenile is being held at the Jackson County Youth Court, according to Ledbetter.
In an unrelated case, Jonathan Kingston, of Biloxi, is accused of burglarizing a home in the same neighborhood in September.
Kingston, 43, is behind bars at the Harrison County jail. He is being held on unrelated charges through several coast law enforcement agencies. The Mississippi Department of Corrections also has a hold on Kingston for probation violation.
Kingston is awaiting extradition to Jackson County where he is charged with one count of burglary of a dwelling.
