BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Following six hours of deliberations, a mistrial was declared in the fatal shooting death of Jason Brady

Witnesses testified on Friday that Williams was responsible for shooting and killing Brady because of an argument involving illegal drugs. However, a Harrison County jury was not able to reach a unanimous verdict for the accused, Louis Miguel Williams.

In February 2015, a previous jury was also deadlocked.

"Illegal narcotics and firearms are a dangerous combination. This is a difficult case. Although the jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict, our thoughts continue to go out to the victim’s family for this senseless loss of life," said District Attorney Joel Smith.
