BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

One dentist office is giving kids a unique choice on what to do with leftover Halloween candy. Kool Smiles is encouraging children to participate in "Operation Troop Treats."

The program allows kids to drop off candy in exchange for a toy. The dentist office will use the candy in care packages to U.S. service members stationed overseas.

To get a toy, you need to bring in 25 pieces of candy. There is a limit of three toys per child. Also. keep in mind the exchange is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Candy drop off will run through Friday, October 28 to Saturday, November 5. Kool Smiles is located at 2650 Beach Boulevard in Biloxi.
