NEW ORLEANS, LA (WLOX) - New Orleans-based production company Court 13 is looking to cast area teens, toddlers, and kids in an upcoming feature film.
Not yet named, the adventure movie tells the tale of a group of Louisiana kids who make their way to a magical island.
Because the roles being cast will portray the lead characters at different stages of life, producers are looking for specific age ranges: young adults between the ages of 13 - 24, boys between ages 4 - 5, and girls between the ages of 1 - 3. Because the production company works exclusively with with people who have never acted, no experience is necessary.
Adults and parents of children under the age of 18 are asked to submit photos to firstname.lastname@example.org, along with their location and contact number, for consideration.
In 2013, Court 13 was a driving force behind the wildly successful film, "Beast of the Southern Wild," directed by Behn Zeitlin. Then six-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis from Houma, La. stared in the movie; eventually becoming the youngest best actress nominee for the Academy of Mtion Picture and Arts Science at the age of 9.
