It's Halloween time again. In neighborhoods across America, children will don costumes and hit the streets going door to door announcing to home dwellers "trick or treat." For the little ones there are no real tricks, only treats.
Some experts estimate that one quarter of all candy sold annually in the U.S. is purchased at Halloween. Many neighborhoods in south Mississippi turn the day into a party for children and adults. So many more pedestrians will take to the streets in their festive costumes.
Whether you participate or not, we urge everyone to be extremely careful on the roads. Returning back home safely will be the best treat of all.
