BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - An Alabama man is facing charges in Biloxi after police responded to a call of suspicious activity on Saturday.
According to Biloxi Police, a black Honda Accord was left on the side of Interstate 10. Witnesses told officers that a man and woman abandoned the vehicle shortly before 3 p.m., then climbed a fence that borders a business on the south side of the interstate.
Police were able to locate the couple and found the key to the vehicle in the man's pocket. The man, Jared Allen Warren of Prattville, AL, was arrested for receiving stolen property after police discovered the vehicle was reported stolen three days earlier in Texas.
He was taken into custody without incident and is charged with receiving stolen property. He is being held at Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $25,000 bond, which was set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
