GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

A former employee of Memorial Behavioral Health has been terminated after reportedly taking inappropriate photos of three patients.

The mother of one of the alleged victims said the man took nude photos of her 6-year-old daughter.

According to the Harrison County jail docket, Travis James McMurray was arrested Thursday and charged with secretly photographing for lewd purpose or invading the privacy for photographing.

Memorial Behavioral Health officials said they first became aware of the situation involving one patient Wednesday and immediately reported McMurray to Gulfport police, the State Attorney General’s Office, and the Mississippi Department of Human Services.

After further investigation, hospital management discovered two other patients had allegedly been photographed inappropriately.

Hospital management said McMurray has been terminated, and they are working to notify the families of the three victims.

We are working to gather more details on this developing story. On WLOX News Now at 10 p.m., you will hear from the mother who claims her child was photographed.
