ST. MARTIN, MS (WLOX) - Classes have resumed at St. Martin Middle School following a bomb scare, and investigators say the suspect may be responsible for Tuesday's threat as well.
The school was on lockdown Wednesday afternoon as the Jackson County Sheriff Department's bomb dog inspected every building on campus. Deputies gave the all clear at St. Martin Middle School about an hour after a threatening note was found on campus.
The incident was the second time in two days a threat has been reported at the school, and officials have several leads in the cases.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for tips leading to a felony arrest of the person responsible. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's department at 228-769-3065, or to submit a tip online.
