WLOX Editorial: If you can't be on time, be early

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - Rush hour by definition means traffic is at its peak. Drivers pack the roads headed to or from work or school. Many rushing to get there on time. There's nothing wrong with being on time. That is, unless your rush puts lives in danger.

Some drivers seem to concentrate on the rush and forget that school is back in session. School buses are loading and unloading our young people and the rushing drivers are not stopping. Are you in that big of a rush? Is your time so tight that you would endanger young lives?

We suggest ff you are worried about being late and if you can't be on time, then be early. That way you don't have to rush. You can drive safe, stop for buses, and still be on time.

That's our opinion, we would like to hear yours. Email your thoughts to editorials@wlox.com.
