BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

The man who drowned Thursday morning near the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor has now been identified as Michael Carle, 28. Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove has ruled the death an accidental drowning, and said there was no evidence to indicate a suicide.

Hargrove said Carle was staying in Biloxi, but had no physical address. He did have family in the Gulfport area.

Carle was seen walking into the water by shrimpers in the area, and then they heard him call for help. The shrimpers were anchored and couldn't get to him, so they called DMR and Biloxi Police for help. His body was recovered Thursday at 7:35am.
