HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A Saucier woman is accused of stealing more than $7,000 from a woman she was supposed to be caring for.
Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said Brandy Dawn Taylor, 34, was arrested Monday and charged with felony exploitation of a vulnerable person.
Peterson said the alleged illegal activity was brought to the attention of investigators after the victim's children reported Taylor had stolen more than $7,000 from their mother's credit card and bank account.
Taylor was reportedly acting as the woman's caretaker at the time.
Taylor was booked into the Harrison County jail Monday, and her bond was set at $10,000.
