HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Traffic on I-10 is delayed Sunday afternoon after an 18-wheeler was struck by lightning while crossing the Pearl River Bridge.
According to Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesperson Chase Elkins, the truck is currently stopped in the right westbound lane on the bridge.
A wrecker is on the way, and officials expect the scene to be cleared within the next 20 minutes.
