HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - The Mississippi Department of Transportation is about to begin an interstate resurfacing project in Harrison County.
The $11 million project will start on Interstate 10 next week, and it's expected to be complete by November.
"Work will include milling the roadway and resurfacing eight miles of Interstate 10 from Shorecrest Rd. to Galleria Pkwy.," said Transportation Commissioner Tom King. "Lane closures at night will be required during later phases of construction."
The work contract was awarded to Huey Stockstill, LLC.
