FARMERSVILLE, TX (WLOX) - WLOX News Now has learned two people living on the property where a woman's body was found in Farmersville, TX, last week have been arrested. It is possible the body belongs to Jessie Bardwell, the Pascagoula native who has been missing since at least Mother's Day.
Bardwell's boyfriend, Jason Lowe, is behind bars charged with her murder in Richardson, TX. Blood evidence found in Lowe's vehicle led investigators to charge him with the murder, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Sgt. Kevin Perlich, with the Richardson Police Department, said the two people who were arrested on the property where the body was found are not facing charges related to the case, but they are being questioned to see if anything ties them to the body or any knowledge of it ending up there.
Police were expecting to release a positive identification on the body today, but Perlich said the medical examiner has not yet released that information.
"Once we get it, we will have to get with the family to let them know what we find before releasing information to the general public," Perlich said.
