GEORGE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - According to officials with the George Regional Health System, one in five Americans will be diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime, and melanoma is the most common form of cancer for people between 25 and 29 years old.
The chances may be relatively high, but if skin cancer is caught early, there is a good chance it can be cured.
That's why on June 2, Dr. David Crump will be performing free visual skin cancer screenings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the George County Senior Center. The screening are totally free and open to the public.
