GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - New information about a weekend shooting that injured an innocent bystander. Sheryl Bridges says the gunshot victim is her son Samuel and "he's doing fine by God's grace and his mercy."
The Gulfport Police Department is investigating yet another instance of gun violence after a man was shot overnight.
According to GPD's Sgt. Damon McDaniel, a man was shot after leaving Club Envy around 2:30 Sunday morning.
McDaniel says the incident happened in the parking lot of a nearby Kangaroo Gas Station. The victim, who was an innocent bystander, was taken to Memorial Hospital in a private car.
