DIAMONDHEAD, MS (WLOX) - North Hancock County Residents are anticipating the re-opening of the East Hancock County Library in Diamondhead.
The Hancock County Board of Supervisors agreed to fund the library system's budget at its previous level at Monday's meeting.
The library closed last year after board members at that time cut the library's budget. Board President Blaine LaFontaine said a total of $42,000 was restored to the library system, and supervisors have agreed to fund the libraries budget at the same level next year.
Leaders hope to have the East Hancock Library reopened sometime in June.
