Our ability to personally, instantly communicate every minute of every hour of every day is here to stay. But just because we can, does not mean we should.
There is a law against driving and sending or reading texts or emails. But recent reports show it is very difficult for police to enforce the law.
Just because you are not likely to get caught, doesn't mean it's ok to text and drive. There are much stronger repercussions than possibly getting a ticket.
Taking your eyes off the road to read or send a text, puts you and every other driver or pedestrian in danger. That instant communication can wait until you are not driving.
That's our opinion, we would like to hear yours. Email your thoughts to email@example.com.
