WIGGINS, MS (WLOX) - Six people were arrested by Wiggins police this week for allegedly kidnapping then robbing two people.
Detective Sergeant Richard Gulledge said around 3 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the 1100 block of East Frontage Drive for a reported armed robbery. Gulledge told WLOX News Now two victims claimed they were forced to drive to an undisclosed location in the county then were robbed at gunpoint. The victims said the suspects then left them at that location.
After talking with the victims and several witnesses, investigators were able to identify six suspects. Gulledge said Nekida Kennedy, Price Woullard, Fisher Simmons, Keeshawn Armstrong, Dejuan Armstrong, and Letarius Vanderbilt were all found and arrested.
They were all taken to the Stone County Regional Correctional Facility pending an initial appearance Friday.
All six are charged with kidnapping, armed robbery, credit card fraud and conspiracy to commit an offense.
