GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - The Gulfport man who was arrested Tuesday night and charged with aggravated assault after an alleged stabbing is also charged in relation to a murder investigation.
Devin Deshaun Gregory, 18, is one of five people charged in the murder of Tena Broadus. Gregory is charged with accessory after the fact in that investigation.
A fight between two men at a Gulfport trailer park ended with a stabbing Tuesday night, according to police.
Gulfport Police Department spokesman Sgt. Damon McDaniel said officers responded to a reported assault at the Southern Oaks Trailer Park on Three Rivers Rd. around 9 p.m.
McDaniel said officers responding to the scene found a 21-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the upper torso. The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
McDaniel said investigators found the victim had been in a fight with Gregory when Gregory pulled out a knife.
After the alleged stabbing, Gregory ran from the scene on foot. He was later found and arrested by Gulfport police.
Gregory is charged with aggravated assault. He is being held without bond, because he was out on bond from a charge of accessory after the fact when the alleged stabbing happened.
