HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - The U.S. Forest Service will be conducting a prescribed burn that will cover more than 1,800 acres in north Harrison County today.
Assistant Fire Management Officer Clifton Willis said the burn will be in the area of Bethel Rd. and Forest Service Road 426. The Bethel Bicycle Trail and Bethel Motorcycle Trail will be closed temporarily while crews work the burn.
Willis said smoke should be visible from Bethel Rd., North Carbridge Rd. and as far away as Hwy. 15.
