BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Two women were arrested Wednesday and charged with felony shoplifting in Biloxi.
Investigator Nick Sonnier, with the Biloxi Police Department, said officers were called to the Belk Department store in Edgewater Mall after loss prevention officers reported two woman stuffed merchandise into bags and walked out of the store without paying.
Sonnier said Ethel Marie Freeman, 50, and Natalie Young, 33, were arrested and charged with felony shoplifting.
Both woman were taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Freeman's bond was set at $50,000 and Young's bond was set at $25,000.
