HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Hancock County Coroner Jim Faulk has identified the three people who were killed in a tragic pileup on Interstate 10 in Hancock County on Monday night.

Faulk said Uken Bremani, 29, Yayan Royani, 37, and Sridewi Alumni, 48, were killed in the crash involving two 18-wheelers. Faulk said Bremani was driving the car.

Ilham Ronas, 44, and Triat Mojo ,48, were also in the car, but they survived. Faulk said Ronas is still being treated at a hospital in New Orleans, LA, and Mojo remains at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport

Investigators tell us all five people who were inside the vehicle are from Indonesia.

The four-vehicle accident happened just before the Pearl River Bridge near the Mississippi-Louisiana state line.

"We had an 18-wheeler slowing down due to road work causing the traffic behind it to slow as well. A second 18-wheeler rear ended a passenger car," said Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Chase Elkins.

Investigators said the Jaws of Life were used to pry two people from the mangles mess, but three others were ejected from the vehicle.

Westbound traffic on the interstate was stopped in place for hours until the scene was cleared early Tuesday morning.
