JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Jackson County supervisors are considering rebidding for the county's ambulance service. Acadian Ambulance currently services Jackson County, but some city officials want to make some changes to the county's contract with the company.
One of the main concerns for city leaders is the subsidy they are charged for the ambulance service.
Jackson County Emergency Services Director Earl Etheridge said the county is working on a notice of request for proposals for ambulance services.
